Communiqué of the Fourth State Executive Council Meeting of APGA Osun

 

ALL PROGRESSIVE GRAND ALLIANCE (APGA), OSUN STATE CHAPTER

 

COMMUNIQUÉ OF THE FOURTH STATE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING OF APGA OSUN

 


The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA Osun) convened its fourth state executive council meeting at the NUJ Press Centre, Osogbo, on January 6, 2024. Deliberating on crucial party and state matters, the Party arrived at the following resolutions:

 

1.      APGA Osun extended its commendation to Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, the National Chairman of APGA, for his steadfast commitment to party unity and his efforts in preparing the party for future Elections.

 

2.      The Party expressed profound gratitude to Alhaji Owolabi Suraj Olanrewaju, the National Vice Chairman of APGA for the Southwest, for his invaluable support and astute political guidance in coordinating the party's activities within the region.

 

3.      Governor Ademola Adeleke is applauded for his proactive stance in initiating plans for the organization of local government elections, a move deemed crucial for grassroots democratic representation.

 

4.      Recognizing the importance of security in ensuring the well-being of citizens, APGA Osun urged all security agencies, including the Police, DSS, and NSCDC, to prioritize the protection and welfare of the people of Osun State.

 

5.      The Party called upon Governor Adeleke to extend his support to Osun farmers, emphasizing the significance of bolstering the agricultural sector as a means of fostering economic growth and food security within the state.

 

6.      It is imperative that the timely payment of pensioners be ensured, as their welfare remains a priority for the party and the state government alike.

 

7.      In line with efforts to enhance healthcare delivery, APGA Osun urged Governor Ademola Adeleke to equip community health centers with adequate medical supplies and facilities, thereby improving access to quality healthcare services for all residents.

 

8.      The ongoing recruitment of teachers in the state is commended by the party, and Governor Adeleke is encouraged to uphold standards of excellence in education by ensuring the delivery of quality education and furnishing school libraries with sufficient educational resources.

 

9.      These resolutions stand as a testimony to APGA Osun's unwavering commitment to the advancement and prosperity of Osun State and its citizens.
