APGA Elects New Executives In Osun State With A Focus On 2026 Governorship

 

APGA ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVES IN OSUN STATE WITH A FOCUS ON 2026 GOVERNORSHIP




 

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Osun State has successfully conducted its internal elections, resulting in the emergence of a new executive committee. The elections, held at the state Secretariat of the party in Osogbo, were marked by enthusiasm and a strong commitment to advancing the party's objectives in the state. The newly elected executives are tasked with the responsibility of steering APGA towards securing victory in the gubernatorial elections scheduled for 2026.

The newly elected state Chairman of APGA in Osun State is Mr. Wole Adedoyin, an accomplished leader with a wealth of experience in grassroots politics. Assisting him in his duties is Mr. Olalekan Ibitoye, who assumes the role of Deputy Chairman, and Mr. Ishaq Oludare Abdulsalam, who has been elected as Secretary General. This dynamic team, along with the other elected members, brings a diverse set of skills and expertise to the party's leadership.

The elected State Vice Chairmen include Mr. Abimbola Bode (Elite), Mr. Gbadebo Adekunle, and Mr. Olapade Victor Olajide, representing the first, second, and third vice chairmanship positions respectively. The executive also comprises Mr. Ajao Ibrahim Olalekan as Assistant State Secretary, Mrs. Dunmade Ajoke Wuraola as State Treasurer, Mr. Julius Oyedele Oyedotun as State Publicity Secretary, and Mr. Taiwo Abiodun Emmanuel as State Welfare Secretary, among other esteemed individuals.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected party Chairman, Mr. Wole Adedoyin, expressed his gratitude to the members for their trust and confidence in the executive team. He acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead but affirmed the commitment of the new executive to reposition APGA in Osun State. Their primary goal is to rally party members and stakeholders in order to secure victory in the 2026 governorship election.
