OSUN COP3 GREETS TINUBU AT 67




The Osun State branch of the Coalition of Progressive Political Parties (COP3) has described the former governor of Lagos state and the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola ahmed Tinubu as a formidable political force who has brought changes to the political landscape of Nigeria.

This was contained in a press release issued and signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Coalition, Wole Adedoyin and Elder Adeloye Ogunmodede made available to newsmen yesterday in Osogbo.

According to the release “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been been a formidable force, helping to put together a great political party that won power at the Centre in Nigeria. He is a true hero of democracy, a light that cannot be cloaked! Asiwaju is a great and a true leader, an outstanding leader in Yoruba land and beyond."

“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made people and made lives a lot better through political opportunities he has created and his other humanitarian activities. We wish him many more years in life. We pray that Allah grants all his need to continue to impact the lives of many more people.” The release finally said.

HDP BERATES OSUN PDP MEMBERS FOR MISLEADING OSUN CITIZENS ON FAKE CERTIFICATE OF RETURN



The Osun state chapter of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) has berated some Osun PDP members for misleading and confusing the citizens of the state with a fake picture of certificate of return orchestrated to be given to Ademola  Adeleke whom the tribunal recently declared the elected governor of the state. 

Osun HDP described the recent action of some Osun PDP members as barbaric, undemocratic and unpatriotic act.

This was contained in a release issued and signed by the State Chairman of the party Mr. Wole Adedoyin and made available to newsmen yesterday. 

Adedoyin, who is also the State Chairman of the Coalition of Progressive Political Parties (COP3) a pro-Muhammadu Buhari outfit condemned the action and ask the state Chairman of the Party to apologies to the people of the state.

“The act was knowingly done by some known and unmasked members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state to mislead the good people of the state and play on their intelligence. This act is anti-mases and ruthless”, Adedoyin said.

OSUN COP3 URGES PRESIDENT BUHARI TO FULFILL PROMISES MADE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE DURING CAMPAIGN


The Coalition of Progressive Political Parties (COP3), Osun state chapter has urged President Muhammadu Buhari not to forget all the promises made by him that he would do for the state when his presidential campaign team visited the state during the just concluded 2019 General elections.

This was contained in a press release signed by Wole Adedoyin and Adeloye Ogunmodede, Chairman and state Secretary in Osogbo yesterday.

It would be recalled that the Coalition of Progressive Political Parties (COP3) under the national leadership of Alh. Yusuf Ibrahim who is also the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) adopted President Muhammadu Buhari weeks before the Presidential election which necessitated the state chapters of COP3 to follow suite. In Osun, COP3 parties also joined forces with the APC which made President Muhammadu Buhari to emerged in the state.

The Presidential campaign rally held in Osogbo, the state capital of Osun State had the presence of the following APC leaders; Comrade Adams Oshiomole, APC National Chairman, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Leader,Chief Bisi Akande, former APC interim National Chiarman, Mr. Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola and his deputy, Gboyega Alabi, immediate past Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, former governor of Rivers state and Minister of Transport, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi and the national woman leader of the APC, Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson and others.

During his visit, President Muhammadu Buhari said his administration wanted to engage more Osun people in Agriculture by providing soft loans to farmers which will make the state to achieve food security. PMB further promised the state other developmental projects.

Adedoyin, who is a former Coordinator of the Buhari Youth Support Movement back in Oyo state then in 2015 said all these promises were made in the presence of Osun first class Obas like the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Orangun of Ila, Oba Wahab Adedotun, the oluwo of Iwo, Oba abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdulrasheed Olabomi, the Orangun of Ile-Ila, Oba Dokun Abolarin, the Olufon of ifon, Oba Adekunle Magbagbeola, among other.
