IPAC WATCHDOG MOURNS LP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, ALH. ABDULKADIR ABDULSALAM
Wole Adedoyin, the founder and an Administrator of IPAC Watchdog, an electronic platform created in 2015 for dissemination of information and brainstorming on critical and crucial issues affecting registered political parties and elections in Nigeria, has expressed sadness over the death of the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Alh. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam.
In a press statement issued by Adedoyin on Wednesday, the foundation Secretary of IPAC in Oyo State described Alh. A.A Salam’s death as “an unfortunate incident and a most painful loss to IPAC, CUPP and the electoral process in the country.
“The news of Alh. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam’s death came to me as a very rude shock, I pray that God will console his family and relatives. We sympathize with Labour Party Chairmen and members across the country, Adedoyin added.
“Alh. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam was instrumental in the formation of IPAC Watchdog in 2015. He supported and was an honorary member of the platform before death took him away from us. IPAC Watchdog played a vital role when he contested for the post of IPAC National Chairman in 2016. Alh. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam’s death is a major setback in the political development of the country.”
Adedoyin, the Osun State Chairman of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) and the Chairman of the Association of Progressive Political Parties (Osun APPPS) prayed Allah to grant his wife, family and political associates the fortitude to bear this very painful loss.
